Cookie Policy

    Last updated: 5 October 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on privatediningexperience.com, what they do and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy. The website is run by PDE Catering Ltd, trading as Private Dining Experience.

    What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves on your device. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage and session storage, work in a similar way. Some are needed for the site to work. Others help us understand how the site is used, or come from services we embed, such as maps and review widgets.

    Your choice

When you first visit, a window in the middle of the page asks whether you accept all cookies, reject all optional cookies, or want to manage your preferences by category. Nothing optional runs until you choose. If you close the window, press Escape or click outside it, we keep strictly necessary cookies only. Strictly necessary storage is always on, because the site cannot work without it.

You can change your choice at any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of every page, or here. If you switch a category off, the page reloads so those tools stop running.

    Strictly necessary

These are always on. They do not track you across other websites.

Things that do not use cookies

Our typefaces load from Google Fonts and Adobe Fonts. They do not set cookies, but your browser shares your IP address with Google and Adobe to download them. Our website also records each public page view (the page, its full address and the referring website) in our own database, without setting a cookie or identifying you.

    Other ways to control cookies

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser, and use the providers' own tools:

Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop parts of the site, such as forms or portal sign-in, from working.
